No single measure carries the weight of exam integrity on its own. Each layer below narrows what's possible, so that by the time a candidate is seated, security isn't something to hope for — it's already in place.
Controlled from the ground floor up
Before any candidate reaches reception, access into the building and onto the testing floor is controlled — the first boundary between a public street and a secure examination room.
A staffed, professional first point of contact
Every candidate is received by trained staff who run check-in to the same standard, every time — the start of a process built around accountability, not assumption.
Confirming who's sitting the exam
Identity verification and security checks are completed before a candidate is permitted into the testing room — a deliberate, unhurried step that protects the credibility of every result that follows.
Nothing enters the room that shouldn't
Personal belongings are stored in secure lockers, with allocation completed before entry into the testing room — removing opportunity for interference, not just the risk of it.
Every seat, in view
Workstations are positioned so CCTV coverage reaches every seat in the room. Coverage isn't assumed — camera angles are checked seat by seat, including with a dummy candidate raising a hand to confirm nothing sits outside frame.

Experienced oversight, throughout
CCTV feeds are monitored live from a location close to reception and the testing room, and professional invigilation is available as an additional layer of oversight for exam programmes that call for it.

We provide the venue. The exam sponsor owns the rules.
BNA Worldwide operates within each exam sponsor's own integrity rules — we don't set them independently. Knowing where our role ends and theirs begins matters for anyone evaluating exam security.
